With a keen understanding of the fundamentals, Matt ensures the successful capitalization of multi-phased development projects. His career journey began in accounting with an international real estate developer, followed by earning his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation a decade ago. Transitioning to finance, Matt managed a diverse portfolio exceeding $1 billion across stocks, bonds, real estate, and private equity investments at a family office in Chicago. As part of a dynamic team, he facilitated the placement of $100 million in equity annually into multifamily and commercial real estate through direct acquisition and private equity investments.
Matt joined Addison Properties in 2019, assuming responsibility for asset management and financing activities for development projects. Since joining Addison, Matt has secured financing for 28 projects with a total capitalization of $175,000,000 while managing relationships with a broad group of limited partner investors.
Matt holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and is a licensed Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Beyond his professional endeavors, Matt is a self-professed macroeconomic nerd and fundamental investor known for crafting impressive charcuterie boards. He resides in Moreland Hills with his wife and young son.
