Scott Berkowitz brings over 25 years of experience in real estate and hospitality to his role as VP
of Acquisition and Development at Addison Properties. Throughout his career, Scott has
primarily focused on residential land development and the hotel industry, working with top
brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Starwood, Wyndham, and others.
His responsibilities have encompassed various aspects of the real estate sector, including
contracts, financing, acquisitions, zoning, and leading development initiatives. He has overseen
projects in diverse locations, including Florida, Georgia, California, Ohio, Colorado, New Mexico,
and the Riviera Maya, Mexico.
Currently, at Addison Properties, Scott is dedicated to identifying opportunities that align with
the company’s core competencies and expertise, establishing it as one of the market’s premier
developers of raw land and multifamily properties.
Scott earned a degree in Economics and International Relations from the University of
Wisconsin. He resides in Beachwood, OH, with his wife of 26 years, and they have two sons.
